A commissioned mural was created for Bar Bailén, a multifunctional café bar and coworking space in central Barcelona. The artwork was designed to evoke the sensory experience and emotional ritual of the first coffee of the day, blending visual metaphor with vibrant composition.
At the center of the piece is a human figure immersed inside a large coffee cup, symbolizing the deep comfort and energy that coffee brings. Rising from the cup, colorful smoke and flames flow upward in dynamic movement, representing the warmth, creativity, and sense of awakening that follows the first sip.
The mural integrates seamlessly with the bar’s atmosphere, where work, pause, and inspiration converge, and visually captures the spirit of a shared daily moment. Through expressive shapes and bold color transitions, the piece adds character to the space while reinforcing the café’s role as both a social hub and a source of creative fuel.
