Selected to paint a mural for Wall Lab at the former prison-turned-cultural center in Barcelona, this project aimed to represent the themes of freedom and transformation through visual art. The scope included every stage of the project, from conceptual design to full execution of the mural, covering more than 11 meters of wall space in this historical site.
The central concept of the mural revolved around the imagery of birds in flight, symbolizing liberation and the profound changes associated with the space’s transformation from a prison to a cultural hub. This theme highlighted the idea of breaking free from confinement, both literally and metaphorically, while emphasizing the transformative power
of art and culture in revitalizing communities.

The mural seamlessly integrated with the architectural space, serving as a focal point that connected the site’s rich history with its new identity.
This project exemplifies how public art can serve as a catalyst for social change, breathing new life into forgotten spaces
while also inspiring those who encounter it to reflect on personal and collective transformation.
