Barcelona, Spain
A site-specific mural was commissioned for Ølgod,
a craft beer bar located in the heart of Barcelona’s Raval. The artwork was designed to visually translate the energy of the city into the space, merging cultural symbolism, local references, and imaginative storytelling.
a craft beer bar located in the heart of Barcelona’s Raval. The artwork was designed to visually translate the energy of the city into the space, merging cultural symbolism, local references, and imaginative storytelling.
The mural features two tigers positioned on either side of the composition, acting as symbolic Guardians of the Creative Flow. From their open mouths, a stylized river of beer flows across the surface, metaphorically linking the bar’s function as a place of connection and collective experience.
The piece draws from Barcelona’s urban rhythm and cultural codes. Executed with bold lines, dynamic color choices, and layered visual motifs, the mural serves as both an aesthetic focal point and a conceptual narrative. It celebrates the essence of Raval, diverse, spontaneous, and deeply social, while enhancing the atmosphere of Ølgod as a creative and convivial space.
